Calathea

Calathea

Calathea was discovered in the Amazon jungle basin. This popular houseplant comes in a variety of shapes and sizes; the leaves can be curved, ribbed, round, oval, or pointed, and can display the most striking patterns. Calathea, however, has an even more remarkable property: it mirrors the rhythm of nature. As soon as the first daylight enters the room, the beautiful leaves spread out to absorb the light, and as evening approaches, they slowly close again. Sssst... can you hear the rustle?
